Rocks Drinks
Also known as liquor/liqueur drinks these drinks are prepared with a liquor and a liqueur.
When preparing a rocks drink always pour the liquor first, then the liqueur.
A liqueur is heavier than a liquor and if you pour it first it tends to sit on the bottom of the glass rather than mixing.
Although these drinks are meant to be served on the rocks, they can also be made straight up.
